About Our Above the Line Activity

Join us in this fun team leadership activity that also helps to bring our own personal behaviors into the foreground of how we all need to take “personal responsibility in spite of the circumstances” we are in on what we choose to control.  Each one of us plays a role in impacting team success by what we say and do not matter how small!

It is all fun as teams will have the challenge of restoring a technical design masterpiece made of blocks but soon discover that no all the information is there to finish the task at hand. 

The special twist is that teams have the right to evict a team member if they believe they are holding back critical information.  The choice is theirs to make.  What will they do? What will they decide is best for the team? Can the stay above the line?

A really thought provoking and interesting activity where personal “response-ability” team leadership is the theme.  Great learnings emerge from what is a fun team activity that will surprise every one and create some insightful learnings out of the days event.  

Another benefit from this activity is that it shows the role of team leadership in high performing teams where trust plays such a critical element. Every member of the team plays a leadership role and must adhere to high standards and stay above the line if the team is going to stay in the high performance space. Above the line represents the leadership space where we all take responsibility for our role and there is a no blame culture.  This is a real challenge for any team.
